Pastor Josh Hess

Senior Pastor

Josh has been our Senior Pastor since November 2018. He serves as an elder and assists with various ministries in the church, as needed. A graduate of Illinois State University (ISU), Josh taught math at a public high school in suburban Chicago for a couple of years before getting his Masters in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. Prior to coming to FCC, Josh served as a pastor in the Indianapolis area for 11 years. Josh and his wife, Kristy, met through InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at ISU and were married in July 2001. They have 4 children. Josh enjoys watching sports, playing games, golfing, hiking, and disc golfing. Please pray for Josh and his family as they serve at Faith Community Church.

Elders

Doug Knickrehm

Doug is married to Laurie Knickrehm and they have been blessed with two grown children and one grandchild, Savannah. Doug has served on the Elder team for many years and was part of the leadership team God called to plant Faith Community Church. Doug’s passion is for teaching others about Jesus Christ and sharing the Gospel. He currently teaches the high school Sunday School class and leads a small group. Additionally, Doug reaches out with Christ’s love to our community by serving on several boards and committees. He and his wife own and operate Cornerstone Transportation Services. Doug enjoys studying God’s Word, spending time with family, golfing, and officiating basketball and football.

Heath Munson

Heath grew up in eastern Iowa, accepting Jesus as his Savior shortly before going to Iowa State University, where he completed his BS in psychology. Heath graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary with his MA in Biblical Counseling in 2010. He then returned to Iowa and has worked as a counselor in this area since 2011. Heath joined the elder board of Faith Community Church in 2015. Heath is married to Kristen. They enjoy doing projects and playing games with their four children.

Neil Foster

Neil Foster grew up in southern California and came to know the Lord as his Savior in his 30’s. Shortly thereafter, he married Beth and they are blessed with 4 grown children and 6 grandchildren. Neil has served in various ministries both in and out of the church, like AWANA and Behind the Walls prison ministry, and he enjoys teaching the Word in small groups and Bible studies. He is employed by NCR, Inc. and his hobbies and interests include reading, working on the farmhouse he shares with Beth, and watching good movies.

Wihden Aise

Wihden R. Aise is married to Carolyn J. Aise. He is the dad to four children and "pahpa" to his grandchildren. He came to know Christ as his Lord and Savior in October of 1974. Wihden is a long-time member of Faith Community Church and also one of the pastors for the Maquoketa Island Church. Wihden and Carolyn own and operate Aise Chiropractic Center and Aise Properties. He likes to read, he enjoys traveling, cooking and eating exotic food.
